Privacy and confidentiality
I collect only what I need to call you back and, if you go ahead, to perform your brit safely. Your forms are read only by me. Nothing is sold or used for advertising, and you can ask me to delete your details at any time.
What is collected, and where it goes
- Contact, call-back and “Let’s speak” forms: your name, phone number, how you’d like to be reached and your message. They are delivered to my email inbox through Web3Forms, a form delivery service, and a copy is saved in a private Google Sheet in my own Google account.
- Adult intake and Jewish roots questions: your answers are saved in that same private Google Sheet, and nowhere else.
- Call alerts: when you send a form, an automated phone call (through Twilio) reads me your name, your phone number and what it is about. None of your other answers are included. Alerts that arrive at night or on Shabbos and Yom Tov are held until morning and deleted once I have been called.
- The baby’s health form on the checklists page is sent from your own email or WhatsApp. This website doesn’t store it.
- Page counts: GoatCounter counts how many times pages are viewed, without cookies and without identifying you. It never records what you type, and it isn’t used on the intake forms or on this page. There is no Google Analytics, Facebook pixel or advertising tracker anywhere on this site.
Why
To call you back, to answer your questions, and, if you decide to go ahead, to make sure the brit is safe for you and properly arranged. Questions about your family are asked only because a rabbi may need them to answer a question of Jewish status.
Who can see it
Only me. If a rabbi or beis din needs to look at your family background, I ask you first and share only that part. Your medical details are shared only with your permission, or in an emergency. The services named above store or deliver the information for me and don’t use it for anything else.
Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing.
How long it is kept
Form answers are kept while we are in touch about your brit, and for up to two years after our last contact so I can help with any later question. Then they are deleted. If you don’t go ahead, you can ask me to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see what I have, correct it, or have it deleted, at any time. Call 845-467-8595 or get in touch.
