Questions men ask
I realize I look different from my friends and family
Maybe you noticed it growing up, in a locker room, or just in a quiet moment. Maybe it's been on your mind for years, and you've never said it out loud. I hear these words more often than you might think.
You are not the only one. Many Jewish men have wondered about this and never felt there was anyone safe to ask.
There are many reasons a man may look different from others. A bris or circumcision can be done in different ways, in different places, and in different decades. Bodies also differ. Looking different doesn't automatically mean something is wrong or missing.
If you're wondering whether your bris is complete according to halacha, we can look at that together, privately and respectfully. For many men the answer turns out to be reassuring. If something is needed, I'll explain it calmly and honestly, and the decision is always yours.
I won't try to answer your question from a web page, because every man's situation is his own. That's why this page is short. The best next step is a real conversation.
Asking a question doesn't commit you to anything. There's no judgment and no pressure.
